Submissions and Consultation

Community and stakeholder input is critical to the success of the Future of Local Government Review in achieving its core objective to create a more robust and capable system of local government that is ready for the challenges and opportunities of the future. In undertaking the Review, the Local Government Board aims to provide every Tasmanian with the opportunity to have their say.

Throughout the Review we have received information from the public, organisations and the Local Government Sector on their thoughts, ideas and aspirations for the future of local government in Tasmania.

This page outlines:

  • the written submissions we continue to receive during the Review; and
  • the peak body and key networks who responded to our invitation to be consulted with during the Review.
